Here are my three favorite alphabetic syllabary scripts: Dinu Kaveko, Eŭsflugido, and Flusilaba.
The first script is similar to Hangul, featuring CV or CVC syllables arranged vertically. It is built in a way similar to the Shavian alphabet: pairs of voiced and unvoiced consonants are represented by the same sign, rotated 180 degrees.
The second script does not show the vowel "a," but instead marks consonant clusters, and has many diacritics for the most common codas; one might say it is closer to an abugida.
The third script tries to use a minimum of calligraphic elements: up and down strokes, under- and over-turns, and hooks.
